Description:	This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) provides the option for the election of standard Operations and Maintenance (O&M) costs as a component of Startup Costs and minimum energy costs in place of filing verifiable costs through January 1, 2012. Additional non-substantive administrative revisions, such as correcting acronym and defined term usage, are shown with the author “ERCOT Market Rules.”
Reason:	Election of standard O&M costs is intended to relieve the burden of gathering complex O&M cost data that may not be in a retrievable format or has legal complications that prevent Generation Resources from being able to submit verifiable costs in accordance with Section 5.6.1 and in compliance with the Verifiable Cost Manual.
