Nodal Operating Guides
The Nodal Operating Guides, which supplement the ERCOT nodal protocols, describe the working relationship between ERCOT and the entities within the ERCOT system that interact with ERCOT on a minute-to-minute basis to ensure the reliability and security of the ERCOT system.
The Nodal Operating Guides are currently in the Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) approval process and will become available after approval.
Specific practices described in the Nodal Operating Guides for the ERCOT system are consistent with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation Reliability standards and the ERCOT protocols. Nodal Operating Guides become effective upon the implementation of the Texas nodal market.
